Delay 1 : The Modi Government failed to become active on the war against corona virus when it was just about entering the country. Despite repeated Warnings from Both Parliament (Loksabha & Rajya Sabha) MPs Rahul Gandhi & Derek O Brien and as well as global news of Covid Epidemic, the Government of India failed to take action in February 2020 when it was important. The lockdown beginning 3rd week of March, that too unplanned was way too late for India to put up a substantial fight against the Novel Corona Virus.
Delay 2 : We all saw the 40-day lockdown of the NDA government and the unimaginable sufferings of the poor people, the poor migrant laborers helped them to return to their respectable home states. Had the central government been quick to start bus and rail services for the stranded migrants before the lockdown began, it would not have killed any of the 100 km of walking or starving workers. This is an unforgivable sin.
Delay 3 : The government failed to seize the opportunity to utilize the lockdown by doing aggressive testing of Corona Virus and isolating the virus instead of locking it at homes. It’s unclear how long will it take before it starts to test substantial number of people. With a population as big as that of India, the govt s lack of planning has actually allowed the virus to pass on even during the lockdown.
Delay 4 : This BJP government never had any dedicated idea or setup to start a research team to invent vaccines or medicine for nCOV 19. While all other countries are trying to find a remedy or vaccine for the epidemic, India is still sleeping because our Prime Minister is left to do research on people. It is also very surprising that without any dedicated funds allocated for Covid-19, the government is trying to control this epidemic.
